Border Lines Around the Footer
In some cases, you may want to increase distinction between the portfolio's main container and the footer. For example, you may want to modify the footer's existing top border line to match the border lines around the portfolio title (see Around the Portfolio Title) in order to create a unified style down the portfolio's length. You may also consider creating a border around the footer to separate it from the rest of the portfolio and draw attention to its contents.
How to Modify Border Lines Around the Footer
Find the following code segment:
#footer_container {
background:none;
border-top:1px solid #AAAAAA;
}
To modify the border line above the footer, change the px value, style, and hex code. You can also add other borders to the footer or even create a box around the footer by changing the property from border-top to border or another property-type.
