Background Color
One of the easiest ways to incorporate your personal branding into your portfolio is to modify some of the background colors of your Digication portfolio. There are five areas that you can modify: 1) the body, 2) the main container, 3) the main container padding, 4) the top navigation module, and 5) the left navigation module. A diagram of these areas can be found below:
How to Modify Background Colors
To modify the body background color, find the following segment of code:
body {
background:#f7f7f7;
color: #222222;
}
In the background statement, change the hex code to your own color.
To modify the main container and main container padding background colors, find the following segment of code:
#header_container, #main_container {
background-color:#FFFFFF;
border-color:#FFFFFF;
border-style:solid;
border-width:0 10px;
position:relative;
}
Change the background-color statement's hex code to change the main container background and the border-color hex code to change the main container padding background.
To modify the top navigation module background color, find the following code:
.navigation_topnav {
background-color:#f7f7f7;
}
In the background-color statement, change the hex code to your own color.
To modify the left navigation module background color, add the following code with you own hex code:
.navigation_leftnav {
background-color:#f7f7f7;
}
